Book Review: The Irresistible Revolution

Ok…so maybe it is not a complete review, but I’ve started reading The Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne. WOW…this guy is rolling. It reminds me of reading Erwin McManus’ book, “The Barbarian Way“.

I am loving the read…you might too. Not that you’ll agree with everything, but we all need to be learning and we certainly have something to learn from Shane if we are listen to the message he is communicating.

  2. Lon, thanks for the comment. We’d love to hear some of your ideas on “trying to figure out what I’m going to do about it all”. Maybe your thoughts lead to a pod cast?

  3. Hey man, I realize you wrote this entry many months ago, but I’m commenting anyway. I grew up going to Fielder, and in my latter years there (pre-graduating from high school) you came on staff, and I’m searching folks who’ve blogged about Shaner (a friend of mine), and I came across yours… isn’t that crazy? I mean, it’s not that crazy, since you wrote about him. Anyways, here’s why I’m searching blogs to find people talking about Shane: Another World is Possible. It’s a DVD series that Shane and Jamie Moffett (co-founders of The Simple Way) made. They’re a sort of visual version of the book. Check out the website and consider checking out the DVDs.

    Nice seeing you(r blog).
